Union Health Minister Dr Harsh Vardhan reviewed the plans made by the health ministers of various states to protect the citizens of the country by the vaccine, which is expected to be available to the citizens soon. In this conference, Deputy Chief Minister Nitin Patel while giving details of the plan made by Gujarat regarding corona vaccination said that in the first phase, the state will cover 4.33 lakh government and private hospital staff, including doctors-nurses, health workers, multipurpose workers, supervisors, sweepers.
Nitin Patel further said that mop-up dry run rounds have also been completed in 33 districts and municipalities of the state. The Centre also told state governments to organise this dry run in the districts. In this regard, Gujarat will go ahead and this trial run will be held on 8 January at three vaccination sites per taluka/zone in 248 talukas and 26 zones of the state. Dr Harsh Vardhan lauded the work done by all the states in the fight against the coronavirus.
