How AI shapes our Daily Lives from Dawn to Dusk

How much AI do we use in our daily life from morning till night? Be it gadgets, at home appliances, or sleep trackers.

AI has been in our lives for the last few decades, mainly due to use of internet driven platforms. – Social networks like Facebook, using AI, decide what news and social media feeds we see, and stay hooked on the platform

–       Google AI decides which information search results we click on.

–       Tinder AI helps us decide whom do we date.

–       Makemytrip AI helps us decides our travel plans.

–       Ubers AI helps us find our drivers and shortest routes to our destinations.

–       Zomato AI helps us chose our meals.

And so on. We are surrounded by algorithms, powered by AI.

How much has AI become a part of our daily lives?

AI has become an indispensable part of modern life, enhancing convenience, efficiency, and personalization. However, it’s crucial to be mindful of privacy concerns, data security, and the potential for algorithmic bias. As AI continues to evolve, understanding its impact and making informed choices will be essential. From personalized recommendations on streaming platforms to voice-activated assistants, AI enhances convenience and efficiency. In healthcare, AI aids in diagnostics and personalized treatment plans. It powers social media algorithms, shaping our online interactions. In finance, AI manages investments and detects fraud. Its integration into home automation, transport, and even shopping experiences highlights its pervasive presence, making tasks more manageable and lives more interconnected. Now AI platforms like Chatgpt, Claude, Perplexity etc. are becoming our intelligent agent partners helping us understand and work better.

What to keep in mind

AI platforms are getting integrated into all our lives deeply democratizing intelligence access to all humans. This also means that humans are vulnerable, and believe whatever the AI is showing them. Humans will stop using their own mental faculties and become rusty. They will stop deep thinking, and fundamental reasoning, which may hurt humanity in the long term

Also, AI may lead to job losses, causing humans to evolve faster to survive.
