Himachal rain update: At least 21 dead amid heavy downpour so far, says CM Sukhu

The Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu inspects the situation on the spot of landslide in summer Hill area of rain-hit Shimla on Monday.
In an interview with media, CM Sukhu revealed that the number of death toll has increased to 21 which earlier in the morning was believed to be 9. He also said that the teams of NDRF, SDRF and Army are at the collapsed Temple site, and they are rescuing the people stuck in the aftermath.
He also said that “I have cancelled my pre-scheduled event in Mandi. August 15 Independence Day program will go on as usual, but our priority is to save lives.”
