Himachal Pradesh Board alters exam dates for 9th, 11th grades

The Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education has revised the dates and timings of the annual/compartment examinations for regular students of the academic session 2023-2024 for 9th and 11th grades. Now, the 9th-grade exams will be conducted from February 26 to March 15, and the 11th-grade exams will take place from February 26 to March 26, from 12:45 PM to 4:00 PM internally at the school level. Dr. Major Vishal Sharma, Secretary of the Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education, stated that previously, the dates for the 9th-grade exams were scheduled from February 26 to March 6, from 8:45 AM to 12:00 PM, and for the 11th-grade exams, from February 26 to March 22, from 1:45 PM to 5:00 PM. The revised datasheet for the examinations has been released.

The schedule for the 9th grade is as follows: February 26, Monday – English, February 28, Wednesday – Sanskrit, Urdu, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, March 1, Friday – Art B, March 4, Monday – Science and Technology, March 6, Wednesday – Social Science, March 7, Thursday – Financial Literacy, March 11, Monday – Mathematics, March 13, Wednesday – Art A, Music, Home Science, Computer Science, Agriculture, Automotive, Healthcare, Information Technology Enabled Services, Media and Entertainment, Retail, Physical Education, Private Security, Tourism and Hospitality, Banking Financial Services Insurance, Beauty and Wellness, Electronics and Hardware, Plumbing, March 15, Friday – Hindi.
