Himachal: Air Force copters carry essential items to remote areas of Mandi

On Friday, the rain-soaked Mandi district received a shipment of food items and medications thanks to the assistance of Air Force helicopters. Helicopters from the Air Force are used by the Mandi District Administration to access the district’s remote areas. The administrative officers had emergency supplies such as food, medicine, and other items with them. A shipment of food and medicine was seen being secured inside an Air Force helicopter by a rescue and relief team in images.

The National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) on Thursday rescued 51 people who were stranded in cloudburst incident sites at Shehnu Gouni and Kholanala villages in Mandi district of Himachal Pradesh, said authorities.
