Health Department to inspect 25 Gram Panchayats in Panchkula

On March1, 2024, all of the district’s Gram Panchayats will receive certification as being TB-free. To inspect 25 Gram Panchayats chosen by the District Health Department, a delegation from the Haryana Health Department will be in Panchkula. Higher officials will receive an interim report on Gram Panchayats free of tuberculosis from the delegation. On March 24, World TB Day, the chosen Gram Panchayats will be recognized at a district-level program.

Every Gram Panchayat in the district will be certified as being TB-free on March 1, 2024. A delegation from the Haryana Health Department will be in Panchkula to inspect the 25 Gram Panchayats that the District Health Department has selected. The delegation will submit an interim report on tuberculosis-free Gram Panchayats to higher authorities. The selected Gram Panchayats will be honored at a district-level function on March 24, World TB Day.

30 samples or more per 1000 people. There should be either none or one TB case for every 1000 residents in the village. The village’s tuberculosis sufferers should have a 100% treatment success rate. Sixty-two percent of the village’s previous TB patients should have had NAT testing done on them. Under the Nikshya Nutrition Scheme, TB patients were supposed to get Rs 500 per day. A nutrition sports kit ought to have been given to TB patients. Twenty villages in block Raiyapurani and five in block Kalka have been deemed TB-free by the Health Department. The delegation’s visit will be essential to validating and acknowledging the district’s TB-fighting initiatives.
