HCS and Allied Services preliminary exam to be held tomorrow

Under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Sushil Sarwan, a meeting was held in the auditorium of the Mini Secretariat regarding the preparations for the preliminary examination of HCS and Allied Services scheduled for 11 February. The Deputy Commissioner provided appropriate directions to the concerned officers for the successful conduct of the examination. Sarwan assured Haryana Public Service Commission Secretary Mukesh Kumar Ahuja, who was present in the meeting, that the preliminary examination of HCS and Allied Services would be conducted in a fair and transparent manner. For the successful conduct of the examination, SDM Gaurav Chauhan has been appointed the nodal officer of the examination. In addition, a Coordinator, Paper Distributor, Duty Magistrate, Flying Squad Officer, and other officers have also been appointed to maintain law and order in the areas surrounding the examination center.

Haryana Public Service Commission Secretary Mukesh Kumar Ahuja said that the preliminary examination of HCS and Allied Services is one of the important examinations of the Haryana Government. For the successful conduct of this examination, 42 centers have been established in Panchkula district, with 10,891 candidates expected to appear at these centers.

He mentioned that, to conduct the examination fairly and transparently, flying squad officers, duty magistrates, paper distributors, station officers, and other related employees have been appointed. Ahuja further stated that gatherings of 5 or more than 5 people would not be allowed within a radius of 500 meters around the examination centers, and Section 144 would be imposed in this radius. Except for the center supervisor, no officer or employee would be allowed to have a mobile phone, and the center supervisor would only be permitted to use the mobile phone in case of an emergency.

He informed that CCTV cameras and jammers would be installed at the examination centers, and no photostat shop would be allowed to open within 500 meters of the examination center. The HCS exam will be held in two phases, morning and evening, with the examination taking place from 10 to 12 in the morning and 3 to 5 in the evening. He directed the police department to maintain law and order and appoint adequate police forces at the examination centers. He instructed that no candidate should be allowed to enter the examination center without an admit card and ID. On this occasion, Deputy Commissioner of Police Sumer Pratap Singh, SDM Gaurav Chauhan, District Education Officer Satpal Kaushik, and other concerned officers were present.
