Haryana School Education Department signs pact with HDFC Bank

Haryana School Education Department has signed an Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with HDFC Bank to provide free insurance facility to its employees.
The special thing is that if the employee gets his salary account transferred to HDFC Bank, he will get many benefits in return for free, including accidental death insurance of Rs 50 lakh.
The special thing about the agreement with HDFC is that smart classrooms will be set up by the bank in about 103 schools of the state. With this, apart from saving lakhs of rupees of the department, modern education will also be given to the students. According to the agreement, the insurance scheme has been started for the welfare of the employees of the School Education Department. He said that this is a voluntary scheme in which if the employee opens an account in HDFC Bank of his own free will, he will get this benefit.
If an employee becomes partially/completely disabled during an accident, then in such a situation, he will get free insurance of Rs 50 lakh. Areas to be covered are total disability, permanent and incurable insanity, permanent loss of two limbs, permanent loss of sight of both eyes, permanent total loss of sight of one eye and one limb, permanent total loss of speech, complete removal of lower jaw and mastication 100% claim will be made in case of permanent total loss. In addition, activities of daily living necessary for living without full-time assistance 75% for permanent total loss of hearing in both ears, 50% for permanent total loss of one limb, 50% for permanent total loss of vision in one eye, 50% for permanent total loss of hearing in one ear 15% on permanent total loss of eye, 25% on permanent total loss of use of lens in one eye, 40% on permanent total loss of use of four fingers and thumb of any hand, 40% on permanent total loss of use of four fingers of any hand at 20 percent,
Permanent total loss of use of one thumb of either hand 20% in both joints and 10% in one joint respectively, Permanent total loss of use of one finger of any hand 5% in three joints, 3.5% in two joints and one joint respectively At 2 percent, permanent total loss of use of toes is 15 percent at all-one foot, 5 percent at big-both joint, 2 percent at big-one joint, and 20 percent at elbow, hip, or knee ankylosis, respectively will get.
Apart from this, in case of death of the account holder, his minor child will also get an education benefit of Rs 4 lakh.
If the contract employee becomes a salary account holder in the bank, he will also get free accidental death insurance of Rs 15 lakh. In addition, zero balance account and unlimited ATM access are included. Free insurance cover of Rs 50 lakh will be helpful to the family in the hour of crisis and teachers will take advantage of this voluntary scheme of HDFC Bank.
