In a significant turn of events during the ongoing ‘Vikasit Bharat Sankalp Yatra’ Jan Samvaad program, Kamlesh Dhanda, the Minister for Women and Child Development, took assertive action in Gaon Jakhauli Daibad. Arriving as the program’s key guest, the event aimed to address prevalent issues concerning the electricity department.
Expressing disappointment and concern over the non-attendance of officials during crucial discussions, Minister Dhanda took a decisive step. She suspended the Rajound Sub-Divisional Officer (SDO) associated with the electricity department. Her action highlighted the urgency and seriousness in resolving the persistent challenges faced by the department. The Minister’s dissatisfaction stemmed from the absence and lack of responsiveness of the officials during discussions pivotal to resolving electricity-related issues, compelling her to take stringent measures. Furthermore, to ensure immediate action, she directed the District Commissioner (DC) of Kaithal over a phone call, emphasizing the pressing need to address and rectify the prevailing concerns.
Dhanda’s action serves as a testament to the government’s commitment to addressing citizen grievances promptly. Her decisive step underscores the administration’s determination to ensure efficient and responsive governance, particularly concerning essential services like electricity.
