Haryana is heading towards destruction, says Deepender Hooda

Deepender Hooda, speaking in Rodi, affirmed the unity within Congress, asserting its likelihood of governing the state. Upon the Chautala and Bhajan Lal families’ BJP alliance, he alleged a shift of priorities and highlighted the state’s alarming drug addiction. Promising youth employment, he accused the BJP-led central government of disregarding the martyrdom of around 750 farmers during the protests, vowing that Congress would prevent this erasure.
On December 24, at the grain market in Sirsa, a Congress protest rally will pay tribute to all those martyred farmers. He was speaking at a massive public meeting organized in the village of Baruwali in the district on Sunday. During this, he said that today, instead of development, Haryana is heading towards the abyss of destruction, the main reason for which are the policies of the coalition government in the state. He said that today, under the coalition government that chants the slogans of ‘Save the daughter, educate the daughter,’ neither are girls safe nor are women safe. There has been an increase of 7.7% in crimes against children, and the state is witnessing five cases of rape every day. MP Deepender Hooda said that the coalition government that talks about ‘Save the daughter, educate the daughter’ and corruption-free governance has a different reality. National Crime Records Bureau figures for 2022 show that after Delhi, Haryana ranks second in crimes against women in the country. Not only that, but cases of dacoity, kidnapping, and extortion are also increasing rapidly in the state. There has been an increase of 118.7% in crime rate per lakh population, meaning a rise of 17.6% in criminal incidents. Unemployment and inflation have distressed the common people, and in such a situation, they only have hope from Congress. On this occasion, he specially praised Congress MLA Shishpal Keharwala for the hard work he is putting in for the success of the Congress protest rally, saying that Shishpal will make history by bringing a massive crowd to the Janakrosh rally, which is coming lightly from Kalanwali. He called on the common people to ensure a larger participation in the Janakrosh rally to bid farewell to the current coalition government in the upcoming assembly elections. On this occasion, former MP Dr. Sushil Indora, MLA Shishpal Keharwala, senior leader Dr. KV Singh, Rajkumar Sharma, among others, also addressed the gathering.
