Haryana govt launches aid for stage 3 and 4 cancer patients

Deputy Commissioner Sushil Sarwan announced that the Haryana Government has initiated financial aid for individuals diagnosed with stage 3 and 4 cancer. A user-friendly portal for this financial assistance is now accessible on the website saralharyana.gov.in.
The financial support granted through this program is in addition to any existing social security pension scheme the applicant may be enrolled in.

Eligibility criteria include Haryana residency and a family annual income not exceeding Rs 3 lakh. Intereasted individuals can apply for the scheme by visiting a CSC Centre/Antyodaya Saral Center and submitting the application online, along with all required documents.
Applicants must obtain the online application form and have it and the related original documents and photocopies verified by the Civil Surgeon. Following verification, the applicant needs to submit the form and accompanying documents to the office of the District Social Welfare Officer.
