Haryana Governor Bandaru Dattatreya visited the Sri Venkateswara Swamy Temple in Sector-12A on Wednesday on the auspicious occasion of Ram Navami and performed the ritual worship to seek the blessings of Lord Venkateshwara.
On this occasion, Haryana Chief Secretary, along with Sri Venkateswara Swamy Temple Sector 12A Head Sri T.V.S.N. Prasad and his wife Dr. Shridevi, were also present. Prasad welcomed the Governor upon his arrival at the temple.
Governor Bandaru Dattatreya extended heartfelt greetings and best wishes to the people of Haryana on the occasion of Ram Navami.
On this occasion, the priests from Sri Venkateswara Swamy Tirupati Balaji Temple, Kurukshetra, performed the ritual worship. The grand celebration of Shri Sitaram Kalyanam was observed in the temple, with hundreds of devotees participating. This centuries-old tradition holds immense cultural and religious significance.
After the Shri Sitaram Kalyanam, Dattatreya accepted the offerings. Representatives from Sri Venkateswara Swamy Temple honored the Governor with a shawl. On this occasion, Police Deputy Commissioner Himadri Kaushik, District Council’s Chief Executive Officer Gagandeep Singh, Secretary of Sri Venkateswara Swamy Temple Neerja, IPS member Sanjeev Kumar, along with a large number of devotees, were present.
