Haryana is set to attract significant foreign investment, as indicated by the Vibrant Gujarat Summit held in Gandhi Nagar. Chief Minister Manohar Lal and Deputy CM Dushyant Chautala are participating in the summit. During the event, CM Manohar Lal engaged in one-on-one discussions with representatives of 10 major Japanese and American companies, inviting them to invest in Haryana. All these companies have shown interest in investing in the state.
In a meeting with the Japanese delegation, CM Manohar Lal welcomed the representatives in the Japanese language. An agreement was reached between Japan and the Haryana government on developing a hydrogen policy, emphasizing clean and green energy. Maruti Suzuki expressed its commitment to supporting Haryana’s electric vehicle policy under the state government’s e-vehicle policy, focusing on plug-and-play technology.
Efforts are underway to identify suitable locations for establishing plants in the state. CM Manohar Lal also held a meeting with the President of Microsoft India, Punit Chandra, and his delegation. Microsoft will collaborate with the Haryana government in the field of artificial intelligence. The CM assured full cooperation from the state government to Microsoft in this regard.
During the summit, CM Manohar Lal established a joint collaboration cell to facilitate Japanese companies in the state. Discussions were also held on opening a Japanese school in Gurugram. The CM engaged in conversations with representatives from various Japanese companies, including Jetro, Denso Corporation, Maruti Suzuki, Yamanaashi Hydrogen, Air Water Company, Toyota Ambika Automotive Safety, JCI India, Blackstone from the USA, UPS Logistics, and Microsoft.
