Haryana Deputy Chief Minister Dushyant Chautala announced that a proposal to establish an industrial model township near the intersection of NH-152D and the Delhi-Katra Expressway in Jind district is under consideration. Responding to a question during the winter session of the Haryana Vidhan Sabha, Chautala mentioned that two potential sites in Jind have been identified, and the land acquisition process has been initiated through various channels, including e-Bhoomi, Land Pooling Policy-2022, and Land Partnership Policy-2022. He added that a detailed site assessment will be conducted by HSIIDC after finalizing the site based on responses from landowners on the e-Bhoomi portal. Chautala further elaborated on the villages included in each site: Site-1 (temporary area 2000 acres) comprises land proposed at Kharak Gadian (approx. 440 acres), Dhatrath (approx. 1080 acres), Jamni (315 acres approx), Kheri Taloda (150 acres approx), and Amravali Kheda (15 acres approx). Similarly, land is proposed in village Jamni (approx. 890 acres), Bhuran (610 acres approx), Amravali Kheda (300 acres approx) of Site-II (temporary area 1800 acres). Dushyant Chautala highlighted that the revenue estate of villages Jamni, Amravali Kheda, Kharak Gadian, Dhatrath, and Bhuran in Jind district falls under the Safidon assembly constituency, and the revenue estate of village Khedi Taluda falls under Jind assembly constituency.
