The first Patank Transplant Asian Open Championship concluded on Sunday in the Thai capital, Bangkok. In this event, 12 Indian players from various categories and age groups won 5 medals. In the individual competitions, Bhavani Singh won silver, Harshvardhan Singh (captain), Mujahid Naqvi, and Amit Sharma won bronze. In the team competition, Harshvardhan Singh, Bhavani Singh, and Hitesh Sharma won silver.
These athletes are all participants who have undergone some form of organ transplant. Harshvardhan Singh, a member of the Rotary Club Jaipur Royal, is active in various social organizations and works to raise awareness about kidney disease and organ donation. Assistant Governor of the Rotary Club and Chairman of Best Capital, Arun Bagadia, congratulated him on this achievement.
