Prime Minister Narendra Modi will virtually inaugurate the new circuit house near the Somnath temple, in Gujarat, on January 21, 2022, at 11 AM. Built at the cost of over Rs 30 crore, the inauguration of the new circuit house will take place via video conferencing.
Following the virtual inauguration ceremony, the Prime Minister will address the occasion. The new agency, IANS, tweeted, “Prime Minister #NarendraModi (@narendramodi) will virtually inaugurate the new ‘circuit house’ built at a cost of over Rs 30 crore at #Somnath on January 21. The inauguration will be followed by the Prime Minister’s address on the occasion.”
Every year, the Somnath temple is visited by lakhs of devotees in India and abroad. As stated by the Prime Minister Office (PMO), the need for the new circuit house was necessary as the existing government facility was located far away from the temple. The new circuit house has advanced facilities such as suites, VIP along with many deluxe rooms, a conference room, an auditorium hall, and so forth. The structure of the circuit house is planned in such a way that from every room, one can have a sea view.
