Govt college signs MoU with Amity University to enhance academic quality

To ensure the all-round development of students, Government Post Graduate College, Sector 1, signed an MoU with Amity University. College Principal Yashpal Singh expressed happiness and stated that this step will undoubtedly establish quality in the fields of education, career, and research. The Convenor of Quality Assurance Cell of Sector 1 College, Prof. Vandita Sharma, mentioned that this agreement has been made with mutual non-commercial interests of both institutions in mind, related to academics, education, research, development, innovation, training, and dissemination of knowledge, etc.

She said that, based on the MOU, both institutions will be able to collaborate on opportunities related to the new education policy. Prof. Sharma informed that both institutes will share their expertise in career counseling and employability. The institutions will collaborate on mutual student exchanges and campus visits. They will assist in organizing career fests and placement drives and will also help in promoting research. On this occasion, College Principal Yashpal Singh, Prof. Naveen Kumar, Gurpreet Kaur, along with the staff of Amity University, were also present.
