Govt College, Kalka, leads successful voter awareness campaign

The National Service Scheme, led by Principal Promila Malik of Government College, Kalka, successfully organized a voter awareness campaign. During this initiative, Principal Malik emphasized the significance of voting, describing it as an integral aspect of democracy.
Stressing that everyone has the right to vote, she highlighted how voting plays a crucial role in determining the rights and security measures for the nation. Principal Malik underscored the importance of voting as a civic duty that holds the potential to shape the country’s future.
In India, individuals can begin exercising their voting rights at the age of 18, considering it a fundamental right that demands thoughtful utilization due to its impact on nation-building.
As part of the voter awareness campaign, the National Service Scheme conducted a successful slogan writing competition that witnessed enthusiastic participation from students.
