The Governor of Punjab and Administrator of Union Territory Chandigarh Banwari Lal Purohit, expressed grief over the passing of former Member of Parliament and former Union Minister, Harmohan Dhawan.
In his condolence message, Purohit stated, “The demise of Harmohan Dhawan is a significant loss for the city. His tireless efforts towards the upliftment of society, particularly for the welfare of the downtrodden, will be remembered for generations. His passing creates a void in the political landscape that will be difficult to fill.”
Purohit extended his sympathies to the bereaved family members and loved ones of the departed soul, saying, “At this somber moment, our thoughts and prayers are with them. May they find comfort and strength in the cherished memories of Mr. Dhawan.”
