The government is organizing the Bharat Sankalp Yatra, aimed at disseminating the message of government schemes to every individual. As per the directives of the Indian government, the Bharat Sankalp Yatra will commence in the district this week, covering four villages daily. Additionally, programs related to the yatra will be organized in various wards of the municipal council.
The Chief Secretary of the state, Sanjeev Kaushal, provided this information to government officials through a late-evening video conference on Monday, offering essential guidance. In this video conference, Deputy Commissioner Shantanu Sharma presented a detailed report on the preparations for the Bharat Sankalp Yatra in Kurukshetra. Chief Secretary and Additional Chief Secretary of the Information, Public Relations, and Languages Department, Dr. Amit Agrawal, also briefed everyone about the yatra. Post the video conference, the Deputy Commissioner stated that the yatra would commence from rural areas in the district.
He mentioned that the route plan for the yatra has been finalized, and the yatra will culminate in the district in January. During this period, arrangements will be made to ensure that deserving individuals benefit from government schemes. The campaign will include those who are already leading their lives successfully by availing the benefits of these schemes. On this occasion, officials from the Education Department, including Director of Higher Education Anil Kumar, and Director of Information, Public Relations, and Languages Department, Dr. Kuldeep Saini, were present, along with other district officials.
