Fountain pens are no longer allowed in Maharashtra Assembly. Pens were checked in an ongoing assembly session in the Maha assembly. This comes after the ink was thrown at Maharashtra Minister Chandrakant Patil in Pune. Minister Deepak Kesarkar said it’s a “precautionary measure.” After the incident, three people were arrested for throwing ink at Patil later released and granted bail.
