Flight captain report to police for touching the door

The police said on Monday, an engineering student had been booked for apparently touching the emergency door of a Delhi-bound flight according to the police. As per reports, on Saturday, the accused engineering student was travelling from Chennai to Delhi. Police said the person touched the emergency gate during the flight. Observing the incident, the flight crew tried to stop him and reported to the flight captain. The captain  decided to report the police about the incident. However, the accused said he didn’t want to opened the emergency door, but had only touched its handle. The police have said that  a notice has been served to the accused and legal action is being taken against him. Although he has not been arrested, he will have to appear in court, they said.
