First look of Mahesh Bhatt’s Sadak 2 revealed online

The first look posters of Sadak 2 starring Sanjay Dutt, Alia Bhatt and Aditya Roy Kapur have been released online. The makers of the much-awaited film have displayed the first look on the social networking site Instagram.

Along with the post, the makers also went on to write, “Teri bandook ki nalli mein mujhe jannat nazar aati hain” while revealing Dutt’s poster.

With Sadak 2, Mahesh Bhatt returns to the direction and is the first time that Alia collaborates with her father for a film. Sadak 2 is a sequel of Bhatt’s 1991 film Sadak in which Sanjay Dutt and Pooja Bhatt played the lead role.

Sanjay Dutt looks despicable in the poster. The actor seems to be doing the last rites of Pooja Bhatt’s character in the film holding a clay pot with smoke coming out while Pooja Bhatt’s frame can be seen from behind. Alia Bhatt too looks in a revengeful mood, whereas Aditya’s character looks more like a happy-go-lucky boy opposite Alia and Sanjay’s characters.

The actors took to their social media accounts to share the posters. Directed by Mahesh Bhatt, Sadak 2 is scheduled to release on 28 August on Disney+Hotstar. The trailer of the movie will be out on 11 August.
