First batch of Amarnath Yatra With Over 4,600 Pilgrims Arrive in Kashmir

Friday 28 June : When the first group of pilgrims arrived at Nunwan base camp Pahalgam, there was a lot of excitement among the pilgrims

The annual Amarnath Yatra will begin tomorrow amid tight security arrangements. The first batch of pilgrims was dispatched from Bhagwati Nagar in Jammu early in the morning. who reached Pahalgam safely.

There is a lot of enthusiasm among pilgrims. The pilgrims were warmly welcomed by the district administration in Pahalgam.

The 52-day pilgrimage will begin from the twin tracks — the traditional 48-km Nunwan-Pahalgam route in Anantnag and the 14-km Baltal route in Ganderbal — on Saturday and conclude on August 19.

Meanwhile, the famous tourist spot of Pahalgam again echoed with the slogans of Bum Bum Bhole. The devotees were chanting Bum Bum Bhole .

A good number of men as well as women were seen among the devotees visiting Baba Barfani. Devotees were seen dancing to the beat of the drum.
