In connection with the incident that occurred a month ago during the inauguration of the world’s largest clock on the highly discussed River Front of Kota, a prominent leader’s name has now surfaced. Former UDH Minister Shanti Dhariwal is implicated in this case, as an FIR has been filed against him. The son of Engineer Devendra Arya, who lost his life in the incident during the clock opening, has lodged a case against Congress leader Shanti Dhariwal, along with the Kota District Collector, UDH officials, and the contractor. The report filed at Kunhari Police Station alleges that there was undue pressure exerted to inaugurate the clock, implicating former UDH Minister Shanti Dhariwal, Kota Collector, UDH officials, and the contractor. The police have registered a case in this matter and initiated an investigation.
Last month, on November 19, an incident occurred during the inauguration of the world’s largest clock, resulting in the death of Engineer Devendra Arya, who was involved in making the clock, and a labourer. The incident took place when Engineer Devendra Arya and his team were at Kota River Front to unveil the clock.
While Arya was ascending to remove the clock from the mould box, he suddenly fell from a height of 35 feet. Simultaneously, a labourer was also injured, and both succumbed to their injuries during hospital treatment.
