An official claimed that Mumbai police had filed a FIR against Shiv Sena (UBT) leader and former corporator Mangesh Satamkar for allegedly raping a woman.
On Tuesday, a woman allegedly accused Mangesh Satamkar, a member of Uddhav Thackeray’s group, of raping her multiple times, according to officials. The complainant stated that Mangesh Satamkar had raped her numerous times under the guise of marriage.
According to the police, a case has been launched against the accused at Antop Hills Police Station under Sections 376 (2)(N), 312, 420, 504, 506(2) of the Indian Penal Code based on the allegation.
“The investigation is ongoing, and no arrests have yet been made,” police stated.
