Seema Deo, a veteran actress in Indian cinema, has passed away at 81. She acted in nearly 90 Hindi and Marathi movies in a career spanning over six decades, from the black-and-white to the color eras of the Indian film industry. She is hugely remembered for her major role in the 1971 musical blockbuster movie ‘Anand’, along with her husband Ramesh and Amitabh Bachchan, among other actors. She worked with some of the industry’s most renowned directors and actors. Her contributions to the film industry will be remembered, and her loss is deeply felt by the Indian cinema community.
