Farmers preparing for a big demonstration

Punjabi farmers are getting ready for a major uprising once more. The heads of eighteen farmer labor organizations in North India and the United Kisan Morcha (a non-political organization) met today at Chandigarh Kisan Bhawan. There were two significant demonstrations announced at this time.
During this meeting, farmer leaders Jagjit Singh Dallewal and Sarwan Singh Pandher announced that plans were on for another movement. The information indicates that farmers are communicating with the center to request that their outstanding demands from earlier be fulfilled.
They said, that on January 2, lakhs of people will gather at Jandiala Guru in Amritsar, Majha, and on January 6, in Barnala, Malwa, and protest.
MSP guarantee law should be made for all crops; rates for all crops should be given as per the C2+50% formula on the instructions of the Dr. Swaminathan Commission.
The farmers are demanding that, Ajay Mishra should be dismissed from the cabinet and should be arrested. Also, Ashish Mishra’s bail should be cancelled and  appropriate action should be taken against all the accused, and as per our understanding, a compensation of Rs 10 lakh should be given to the injured.
They are also demanding that, all types of cases found during all movements across the country, including the Delhi Front, should be cancelled. Compensation and jobs should be given to the families of farmers and laborers who were martyred during the movements, and a martyr›s memorial should be built in Delhi Morcha.
Also, a place should be given to Delhi. It was also agreed not to implement the Electricity Amendment Bill that hands over the electricity sector to private hands, but all these issues were not resolved. They added.
