Farhan Akhtar finally announces Don 3, Details inside

Farhan Akhtar has almost given his Don franchise fans what they needed!

For those unversed, the 43-year-old filmmaker teased Don franchise’ fans as he announces the good news. In addition, he also hinted that Shah Rukh Khan might not reprise his renowned eponymous role in the threequel.

Farhan took to social media on Tuesday to offer a preview video. While his tweet lacked a caption, the teaser did the rest of the talking. It focused attention on the number ‘3’ written in the center of the screen.

The font and style of the figure are uncannily similar. If there were any unturned stones, the background music sounded like a faint repetition of the Don title track, ‘Main Hoon Don.’

The official handle of IMDb India commented on Farhan’s post, “11 mulkon ki police want to know the release date.” Farhan’s sister and filmmaker Zoya Akhtar also commented, “Boom along with an explosion emoji.”

For those curious, as per several reports, Ranveer Singh has been cast as the next Don for the upcoming threequel.
