Exploring Digital Ads in Mohali

To explore the potential of digital mediums in outdoor advertising, District Outdoor Advertising Committee to meet soon, said Deputy Commissioner Aashika Jain, on Thursday.
She said that Mohali is emerging as the IT gateway of Punjab so there is a need to go the level up for providing digital opportunities to the advertisers in the city. She said that the Digital Medium would be explored first of all at Airport road as the road has a great potential for the advertisers. The deputy commissioner made it clear that the potential of digital advertising sites would be explored by adhering the legal guidelines issued on time to time.
Besides, the committee would also discuss to regulate the outdoor advertising in the district with all the stakeholders viz. urban local Bodies and Greater Mohali Area Development Authority. She welcomed the suggestions to be submitted by the residents in this regard to the DC Office so that before finalizing any proposal the pros and cons must be taken into consideration. The meeting was attended by SDM Mohali Chandrajyoti Singh besides State Advisor on Road Safety, Dr Navdeep Asseja.
