Excise policy scam: Delhi court sends Sisodia to judicial custody till 20 March

Delhi’s Rouse Avenue Court on Monday sent the former AAP leader, Manish Sisodia to the judicial custody till 20 March in connection with the liquor policy scam. The former deputy minister of Delhi, was brought to Rouse Avenue Court of Delhi at the end of his CBI remand.

Notably, the authorities arrested him in connection with the alleged irregularities in the implementation and framing of the excise policy of the GNCTD. Following the arrest, Sisodia resigned from his post as the deputy chief minister of Delhi.
