One in 15 individuals aged 10 years or above were estimated to be exposed to Covid-19 by August 2020, according to the findings of India Council of Medical Research (ICMR) second sero-survey, said Dr Balram Bhargava, Director General of ICMR on Tuesday. Dr Bhargava said that the objective of the survey was to estimate the prevalence of SARS-CoV-2 infection among individuals aged 10 years and above. For the purpose of the survey, blood samples were collected from 29,082 individuals across the country. The second survey was conducted between 17 August and 22 September.
