In the ongoing political saga between the Janata Dal Secular (JDS) and Congress leaders in Karnataka, Deputy Chief Minister (DCM) DK Shivakumar has responded vehemently to recent personal accusations made by former Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy.
The rift between the JDS and Congress deepened after their alliance for the Lok Sabha elections with personal jabs becoming the order of the day. The focus of the recent exchange has been on DCM DK Shivakumar and former CM Kumaraswamy.

Addressing reporters, Shivakumar characterized Kumaraswamy’s statements as desperate and frustrated, highlighting that Kumaraswamy had contested against him and lost. He questioned the timing of these allegations and emphasized the need for dignity and respect for a former chief minister.
In a counter-challenge, Shivakumar questioned Kumaraswamy’s credibility, asserting that baseless accusations only tarnish one’s reputation. “Kumaranna, your honor is being ruined.
