Divisional Commissioner Jammu, Ramesh Kumar, took charge of a crucial meeting today, aimed at reviewing and ensuring meticulous arrangements for the upcoming examination designed for the recruitment of Accounts Assistants in the Jammu Division.
The meeting, attended by Deputy Commissioners, SSPs of Jammu Division, and Chairman of the Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB), placed a strong emphasis on guaranteeing foolproof and robust arrangements to facilitate the successful execution of the examination across the region.
In his address, Div Com Ramesh Kumar stressed the significance of meticulous planning and directed the Deputy Commissioners and SSPs to personally supervise various aspects of the preparation process. This includes overseeing training sessions, the selection of examination centers, and the smooth transportation of examination materials to the designated venues. Additionally, he instructed Deputy Commissioners to appoint senior functionaries as in-charges of the examination centers in their respective districts.
Discussions during the meeting also delved into ensuring the hassle-free movement of public transport for candidates and establishing control rooms to disseminate examination-related information promptly. Div Com Ramesh Kumar commended the Deputy Commissioners for their effective arrangements during the previous examination for the recruitment of Panchayat Secretaries, noting the timely release of the selection list.
Chairman JKSSB, Rajesh Sharma, provided a comprehensive update during the meeting regarding the support and assistance extended by the Board to district administrations in preparation for the upcoming examination scheduled on January 28. The collaborative efforts aim to create an environment conducive to fair and efficient examination processes, contributing to the successful selection of candidates for the role of Accounts Assistants in the Jammu Division.
