District officials gear up for 2024 Lok Sabha polls

Keeping in mind the Lok Sabha elections in 2024, the Election Commission of India has initiated a certification program. In this program, all district election officials are being provided training by the India International Institute of Democracy and Election Management in New Delhi regarding the upcoming general elections.
Chief Election Officer Praveen Gupta informed that the Election Commission of India has started preparations for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections in 2024. For this, all district election officials and returning officers of the state are being given a two-day training at the India International Institute of Democracy and Election Management in New Delhi.
The Chief Election Officer stated that district election officials are being trained in three different phases. The first phase concluded on December 21-22, and the next phase will be on December 26-27. According to the timeline issued by the Election Commission of India, the third and final phase will be held on December 28-29.
On December 26 and 27, training will be conducted for Churu, Dholpur, Dungarpur, Ganganagar, Hanumangarh, Jaipur, Jaisalmer, Jalore, Jhunjhunu, and Jodhpur districts. In the next batch on December 28 and 29, training will be held for Karauli, Kota, Nagaur, Pali, Pratapgarh, Rajsamand, Sawai Madhopur, Sikar, Sirohi, Tonk, and Udaipur. Before this, training for officials from Ajmer, Alwar, Banswara, Baran, Barmer, Bharatpur, Bhilwara, Bikaner, Bundi, Chittorgarh, Dausa, and Jhalawar districts has already been conducted on December 21 and 22.
