Senior IAS of 1996 batch of Indian Administrative Service Officer Dinesh Kumar on Friday took charge as the Chief Resident Commissioner in the office of the Chief Resident Commissioner of Rajasthan located at Bikaner House, New Delhi.
Dinesh Kumar will now hold the charge of Principal Secretary to the General Administration Department, Estate, Cabinet, State Motor Garage, Civil and Aviation Departments as well as Chief Resident Commissioner in New Delhi.
On this occasion, Additional Residential Commissioner Anju Om Prakash welcomed Chief Residential Commissioner Dinesh Kumar by presenting him with a bouquet in the Chief Residential Commissioner’s office. After assuming charge, he took information about the nature and functions of various offices of the Rajasthan Government located in New Delhi.
Dinesh Kumar had earlier held the posts of Principal Secretary of Energy, Minerals and Petroleum Department, Chairman Discom, Government Secretary PHED, Excise Commissioner, Special Secretary to the Chief Minister as well as Collector of Jhunjhunu, Alwar and Sirohi.
Apart from the state, Kumar has also served in the post of Joint Secretary in the Agriculture Department of the Government of India. On the occasion of Dinesh Kumar taking charge at Bikaner House, New Delhi, officers and employees of various Delhi-based offices of Rajasthan Government were also present in New Delhi.
