Deputy Commissioner visits Sector 26, inspects stalls set up by various departments

Deputy Commissioner Sushil Sarwan visited the Community Center in Sector-26 as part of the Vikas Bharat Sankalp Yatra, inspecting stalls set up by various departments. He directed concerned officers to provide information about schemes to beneficiaries and promptly address any challenges they may be facing. Additional Deputy Commissioner Varsha Khangwal and Deputy Commissioner of Municipal Corporation Apoorva Chaudhary were also present during the inspection.

The Deputy Commissioner emphasized that feedback from scheme beneficiaries is crucial for the success of the Vikas Bharat Sankalp Yatra. Any deficiencies in scheme implementation will be rectified based on this feedback. He highlighted that the initiative aims to extend benefits to individuals who have been unable to access government services for various reasons.

The yatra focuses on providing information about employment and other schemes to youth and women. Those without essential documents like Ayushman Card, BPL Card, Family Identity Card, Old Age Honor Allowance, or other social security pensions are being assisted and registered during the yatra.

During the event, the Deputy Commissioner urged officers to work diligently to ensure that the benefits of the schemes reach eligible beneficiaries. He noted that health check-ups and distribution of free medicines are also being conducted by the Health Department during the yatra.

Attendees praised the government’s initiative, expressing appreciation for the ‘Garkar Aapke Dwar’ concept under Vikas Bharat Sankalp Yatra. Social worker Pushpa Singhroha highlighted the significant enthusiasm among the people for this yatra, with many taking advantage of various central and state government schemes.
