Dense fog forecasted in Chandigarh; IMD issues alert

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has reported the likelihood of dense fog in Chandigarh on Tuesday. The trace rain recorded on Monday, measuring less than 0.1mm, was attributed to high humidity near the IMD Sector 39 observatory. Despite cloudy weather, the city has experienced limited fog, but IMD officials anticipate the possibility of moderate to dense fog over the next two days due to clear skies at night and a decrease in temperature. The maximum temperature dropped from 24.7°C on Sunday to 22°C on Monday, while the minimum temperature increased from 11.4°C to 12.8°C. Over the next three days, the maximum temperature is expected to stay around 23°C, with the minimum temperature remaining approximately 12°C.
