Demolition campaign launched by TSP Haryana against illegal constructions

Demolition action was taken against illegal constructions in urban area Pachankula by the team of District Town Planner under the leadership of Assistant Town Planner, Neha Yadav. During this action, about 18-20 DPCs were demolished in illegal colonies in village Gorakhnath and Shahpur. This proceeding took place in the presence of Jaiprakash Duty Magistrate and heavy police force. Giving information in this regard, the Assistant City Planner said that notices were also given by the department before removing the illegal constructions, but this construction was not removed, due to which the department had to take this action.

He said that if any illegal construction or colony is developed without taking permission from the Director, Town and Country Planning Department, Haryana, Chandigarh before carrying out any construction or developing any colony, then the department will take legal action against it along with – Along with this, the department takes strict legal action under Urban Area Act-1975, Periphery Controlled Area-1952 and Controlled Area-1963.

He requested the general public not to buy houses or shops in the unauthorized colonies without taking CLU/License permission from the department, doing so will save people’s hard earned money from getting wasted and will help in curbing unauthorized constructions. Can be stopped.
