Delhi Police: Criminal wanted in murder case arrested after brief encounter in Dwarka

Following a brief run-in with Delhi Police here, a wanted criminal in a murder case has been taken into custody, officials announced on Tuesday. The man identified as Alam, who was wanted in connection with a murder case out of the Najafgarh police station, was apprehended in Dwarka, according to Delhi Police. “Alam fired three shots during the encounter. Alam sustained a leg injury as a result of four rounds fired by the police in retaliation, according to Deputy Commissioner of Police Dwarka Harsha Vardhan. More information is anticipated.
