Delhi Car Horror Case: Ashutosh met with accused after incident in CCTV visuals

There is a new development in the Kanjhawala car accident death case in which the new CCTV footage revealed that the accused are seen outside the home of Ashutosh, the owner of the car after a 20-year-old woman named Anjali died after being dragged under a car for several kilometers in Delhi.

In connection with the 20-year-old woman’s death, the sixth suspect Ashutosh was taken into custody by Delhi Police on Friday and for the seventh person the hunt has been launched by the police.

After the accident, Ashutosh was seen talking to the accused in the CCTV visuals. At 4:07 am one of the accused arrived to meet Ashutosh and later he was seen coming and going into his house.

According to the police, the seventh accused in the case is none other than Ankush. Earlier on Thursday the Special Commissioner of Police (Law & Order) Delhi Police Sagar Preet Hooda said the five accused Ashutosh and Ankush Khanna- were friends.

“In the new CCTV visuals, Ankush is also talking to someone on the phone,” Delhi Police said.

“Ankush was talking to the accused on the phone. Ashutosh is last seen on CCTV walking toward his home at 4:52 am. According to the police, at 4.42 am Ashutosh left the house wearing a jacket and returned at around 4:52 am,” police said.

Meanwhile, to find out the truth Delhi Police is interrogating Ashutosh and said, “In the Sultanpuri case, the sixth accused Ashutosh has been arrested who had given false information to the police. Further investigation is on.”

According to the police, the car through which the victim was dragged was Ashutosh’s car and during interrogation, Ashutosh has given false information to the police.

Earlier, police arrested five accused named Deepak Khanna, Amit Khanna, Krishan, Mithun, and Manoj Mittal.

Moreover, for medical examination, all the accused were taken to Sanjay Gandhi Hospital on Thursday. 18 teams of Delhi Police are investigating the case.

“We are trying to file the charge sheet as early as possible. During the post-mortem, no evidence of sexual assault was found,” the Special CP said.

However, Anjali was killed in the early hours of New Year after her scooty was hit by a car and was dragged for over 12 kilometers.
