Deepender Hooda raises unemployment issue, says illegal agents trapping youth for ‘jobs abroad’

Congress Working Committee’s special invitee and MP Deepender Hooda expressed concern over Haryana’s youth being compelled to sell their land and property to seek employment abroad via illegal means. He highlighted the plight of youth falling into the trap of agents promising lucrative jobs and better salaries overseas. These individuals pay substantial amounts to these agents, illegally cross borders, risking their lives, and if caught, endure years of imprisonment.

Deepender Hooda raised questions on the government’s stance, pondering the fate of families losing their land and their children seeking opportunities abroad. He demanded stringent action against the agents exploiting the youth and pushing them into illegal activities.

He specifically mentioned the heart-wrenching stories of Rahul from Kurukshetra, Sahil from Kaithal, and the tragic incident of Malkit, shot while attempting to cross the border. These youths were navigating through perilous routes via Turkey, Costa Rica, Panama jungles, and the Mexico border, putting their lives at risk.

Deepender appealed to the youth of Haryana, urging them not to take the perilous route of illegal immigration. He emphasized that this path only leads to ruin and devastation. Assuring a prospective Congress government after the elections, he pledged to transform Haryana into a hub of employment, aiming to provide ample job opportunities for the state’s youth. He underscored the necessity to curb the exploitation of youngsters and create employment avenues within the state to discourage them from pursuing such hazardous routes.
