Deepak Siddhu, Shammi Valiya join AAP

Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) gained significant strength when Deepak Siddhu, who contested the municipal corporation elections from Ward Number 12 in Chandigarh on the BSP (Bahujan Samaj Party) ticket, and Shammi Valiya, who contested as an independent candidate in 1999 MP elections, along with their entire teams, joined AAP. Upon their inclusion in AAP, Dr. SS Ahluwalia, the Chairman of the Punjab Water Supply and Sewerage Board and co-incharge of AAP Chandigarh, extended a warm welcome. On this occasion, AAP leaders and members, including Amit Jain, a member of AAP and the Punjab Gau Seva Commission, AAP leader JD Ghai, and AAP leader Arvind Chauhan, were also present.
Speaking on the occasion, Deepak Siddhu mentioned that he and his entire team were greatly influenced by the welfare work done by Arvind Kejriwal in Delhi and Punjab. As a result, they have chosen to join AAP. He stated that they would ensure the delivery of AAP’s pro-people policies to every household in Chandigarh.Welcoming Deepak and his team from Ward Number 12, including Shri Kant, Bhuru, Sohan Singh, Sanjeev Sahota, Gurmeet Singh, Jaswinder Singh, Sandeep Kumar, Narendra Singh, Sanjeev Kumar, Sunil Kumar, Rajinder Kumar, Anmol, Subhash, Tarsem Lal, and Gaurav, Dr. SS Ahluwalia mentioned that AAP is the only party that fulfills promises made to the people. AAP has fulfilled the promises made to the public before the Delhi and Punjab elections without any delay, which has significantly benefited the people. This is why a large number of people from Chandigarh are joining AAP, influenced by its pro-people policies. He expressed confidence that AAP will achieve a significant victory in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections in Chandigarh because the people of Chandigarh are tired of false promises made by leaders of other parties. Chandigarh residents are also longing for basic amenities. He mentioned that just as the people of Chandigarh gave the maximum votes and elected the most councillors in the municipal corporation elections, similarly, in the Lok Sabha elections, the people of Chandigarh will vote for AAP.
