A delegation from CRAWFED, led by Chairman Hitesh Puri, presented a memorandum to Chandigarh Advisor Rajeev Verma, addressing various city issues. Senior Vice Chairman Umesh Ghai, General Secretaries Rajat Malhotra and Dr. Anish Garg, along with executive member Balbir Singh, accompanied Puri.
The memorandum emphasized the necessity of implementing need-based changes and validating GPAs executed before 2011 in Chandigarh Housing Board houses. Additionally, the delegation urged the adoption of eco-friendly frameworks for essential service providers (ESPs) such as barbers, laundry workers, and cobblers. They also sought the establishment of entertainment centers within community centers for senior citizens and enhancements in medical facilities across the city.
Advisor Rajeev Verma responded affirmatively to these requests, assuring the delegation of positive action. He expressed optimism regarding CRAWFED’s collaboration in making the city a leader in beauty and development. Verma’s commitment to addressing the outlined concerns underscored the administration’s dedication to enhancing the quality of life for Chandigarh residents.
