Congress to initiate guarantees yatra ahead of assembly polls

Congress will conduct the ‘7 Guarantees Yatra’ to secure votes throughout the state. The responsibility of the journey has been assigned to coordinators at the divisional level. Three deputy coordinators have been appointed at each divisional level. The journey will be conducted under the supervision of three coordinators from the state Congress.
According to sources, this journey will commence on 4 November or the next week. Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot will inaugurate the division-wise journey. The journey will begin on different days from each division. The journey in each division will last for 5 to 8 days. The aim is to cover a total of 148 legislative assembly constituencies through this journey.
On Thursday, Gehlot held discussions with Congress leaders at his residence through video conferencing regarding the 7 guarantees and provided instructions about the journey. The State Congress In-charge, Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa, also participated in the video conference from the State Congress War Room.
