A video has gone viral in which Chittorgarh’s Bengu MLA Rajendra Bidhuri is seen kicking the turban of an elderly man. This incident was captured on CCTV cameras installed in a hotel and appears to have occurred on October 10, 2021. It is reported that the person whose turban was kicked by the MLA belonged to the same community as the MLA and had approached him with a complaint nearly two years ago. The video shows that instead of listening to the complainant, the MLA threatened and humiliated him by kicking his turban when the complainant placed it at the MLA’s feet.
In response to the video, MLA Bidhuri has claimed that it is edited and manipulated. He explained that the person in the video had approached him, and told Bhiduri that his son got married under the Nata system, in which seven lakh rupees were taken and the girl went back. The elderly person placed the turban on the ground. Bidhuri asked the person to pick up the turban and left the scene. He claimed that the rest of the part in the video was edited.
At the same time, after this video, BJP State President CP Joshi said, “The video of this incident may be old, but this is the move, character and face of Congress. On one hand, Congress gives slogans of ‘Jan Samman, Jai Rajasthan’. On the other hand, their MLA insults the complainant by kicking his turban. This is just an example.”
