Haryana Congress Conducts ‘Ghar Ghar Congress Har Ghar Congress Campaign’ in Kalka Assembly Constituency In a campaign led by former state secretary Advocate Vijay Bansal, Haryana Congress workers reached out to people in villages and cities of the Kalka assembly constituency. Under the ‘Ghar Ghar Congress Har Ghar Congress campaign’, they propagated the policies of the Congress and distributed pamphlets with the Congress message. Advocate Vijay Bansal also listened to the problems of the people during the Congress Sandesh Yatra in villages Ramnagar Kholi and Rakhwala of Nanakpur Panchayat.

Upon reaching village Rakhwala, Vijay Bansal and his colleagues were warmly welcomed by residents including Prem Singh, Ramesh, Ratanlal Panch, Sheela Devi, former Panch, Bachnaram, Naseeb Singh, Madanlal, etc. In village Ramnagar, former sarpanch Jeet Singh, former sarpanch Surendra Singh, Gurdev Singh, Jaspal Singh, Amrik Singh, Bhagat Ram, Sher Singh, Kabir, Sonu, Bahadur, Binder, and others expressed their enthusiastic welcome.

The villagers voiced concerns regarding the Periphery Act, which inhibits their ability to build houses on their own land, leading to demolitions by administrative authorities. They also highlighted the lack of development under the BJP government and demanded initiatives to tackle unemployment and revive the HMT factory. Additionally, they requested the reinstatement of old age pensions and the establishment of a class 12 examination center in the Government Senior Secondary School of village Nanakpur.

Advocate Vijay Bansal highlighted the developmental achievements during the Congress government’s tenure, including the establishment of a government hospital and a polytechnic institute in village Nanakpur, installation of irrigation and drinking water tube wells, and construction of link roads. He criticized the BJP government for not undertaking significant projects in the area during its tenure, emphasizing the need for infrastructural development and completion of pending projects.
