Congress and BJP leaders exchange barbs in Kota

With the date of voting approaching, the tours of prominent leaders have started. In the Kota division, both major parties, BJP and Congress, have exerted their full strength on all seats in the division. In this sequence, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has already addressed a meeting here. The proposed meeting of Prime Minister Narendra Modi is on November 21. Meanwhile, former national president of the Congress, Rahul Gandhi, will hold a meeting in Bundi district on November 19. BJP’s central minister Pralhad Joshi and Congress’s national spokesperson Alok Sharma addressed the media in Kota on Friday.
Alok Sharma: BJP’s manifesto is a copy of Congress’s declaration
Congress’s national spokesperson Alok Sharma, who reached Kota, called BJP’s manifesto a copy of the Congress’s declaration, saying that only the vocabulary has been changed, while the announcements are the same as those of Congress. He said, “The memory of giving gas cylinders to the poor for Rs. 450 during the elections is coming back to the Narendra Modi government. This is just an electoral gimmick. The Modi government always fools the public.
It deceives in the name of religion. The public now understands. The Congress government in the state has done excellent work in various areas, including education and inflation.
Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot’s announcement of giving 7 guarantees is beneficial for the people. The public will not be swayed by the BJP’s rhetoric anymore.”
Pralhad Joshi: CM Gehlot failed on all fronts
On the other hand, BJP’s central minister Pralhad Joshi, while refuting the allegations, said, “Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has completely failed. No one copies a failed person. An advertisement has been published by the Chief Minister claiming to win 156 seats.” He said that if Chief Minister Gehlot gets even 56 seats in Rajasthan, they will publicly congratulate him.
Joshi said, “For the farmers, schemes like Samman Nidhi, Har Ghar Jal Yojana, and other schemes, including 5 kg of grain for the poor, have benefited everyone. Now, farmers will receive Rs 1000 every month.” He said that if there are any scandals in the Gehlot government, they will be investigated by forming an SIT after the BJP government comes.
Candidates engaged in campaigning
In Kota North, Congress candidate and Urban Development Minister Shanti Dhariwal and BJP candidate former MLA Prahlad Gunjal are continuously reaching out to households. Meanwhile, in Kota South, Congress’s Rakhi Gautam and BJP’s Sandeep Sharma are engaged in campaigning with their supporters. In the Ladpura assembly constituency, Congress’s Naimudin Gudu and BJP’s Kalpana Devi are reaching out to voters. Independent candidate and former MLA Bhawani Singh Rajavat is also engaged in campaigning with his supporters.
