Congress accuses BJP-JJP government of denying Raipur Rani sub-division status

In a recent development, the BJP-JJP government has come under scrutiny for allegedly discriminating against Raipur Rani, leading to public discontent, according to Vijay Bansal, Senior Vice President and former Chairman of Haryana Kisan Congress.

Vijay Bansal, addressing Congress workers in Raipur Rani, accused the government of neglecting the area by denying it sub-division status and cited issues such as poor road conditions. He highlighted the presence of essential government infrastructure, including a Sub Divisional Officer, Electricity Board, Panchayati Raj, BEO Office, Tehsil, CDPO, Government College, ITI, and Government Hospital in Raipur Rani, despite not being granted sub-division status.

While the Haryana Government recently established six new sub-divisions across the state, Raipurani was notably excluded, prompting accusations of political discrimination by Bansal. He emphasized that despite continuous public demands over the last 15 years, the government has not granted Raipurani the coveted sub-division status.
Vijay Bansal stressed the importance of sub-division status for Raipurani, stating that it would alleviate administrative challenges faced by residents and enhance public services. He argued that the formation of Raipurani Sub Division would streamline administrative processes, providing better services and addressing the needs of the local population.

Despite previous appeals, including a written request to Chief Minister Manohar Lal and Deputy Chief Minister Dushyant Chautala, Raipurani has yet to be granted sub-division status. The lack of action on this front has fueled criticism of the BJP JJP government and its perceived disregard for the welfare of the residents of Halka Kalka.
