Confusion on Coordinator of newly formed ‘I.N.D.I.A.’

As Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar opted out of becoming the Coordinator of the newly formed opposition alliance ‘INDIA’, speculation started on the proposed name of the coordinator. The Bangalore meeting of the opposition conclave has decided the venue of the next meeting in Mumbai. Speculation arises about veteran Maratha leader Sharad Pawar being proposed as the coordinator of the alliance. But the recent split in the NCP has no doubt created frustration among the NCP leaders led by Pawar. Even in the opposition conclave in Bangalore, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge requested Pawar to speak, but he declined. For the first time, Sonia Gandhi attended the opposition meeting. Therefore, it is also being speculated whether she will be offered the post of convenor.
